Muhannad AL Shanfari, MBA, CIPS has held a variety of roles in the procurement and contracting field since 2008. From 2008 to 2013, they were a Contracts Specialist at Oman Oil Company Exploration & Production, where they were responsible for overseeing the timely and efficient operation of the Tendering process from Contract request to final awarding contract. muhannad also provided quality services in a cost-effective manner in accordance with company policy and procedures. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Contract Engineer at GlassPoint Solar, where they were responsible for minimizing procurement costs and lead times of cross functional resourcing by using appropriate methodologies practiced in the industry. Finally, from 2008 to present, they have been a Contract & Purchasing Specialist at SALALAH METHANOL COMPANY-OMAN, where they handle new contracts and procurement requirements for the company, manages purchasing/contracts and related functions within the Procurement department, and provides assistance to department manager in strategy, planning & reporting.

Muhannad AL Shanfari holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from Sultan Qaboos University, which they obtained between 2002 and 2007. muhannad then went on to complete an Associate's Degree in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply in 2013-2014. Finally, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Bedfordshire between 2014 and 2016. muhannad also holds a CIPS certification.
