Nicole Lewan, RN, MSCN has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Nicole currently works at Glaukos Corporation as a Patient Support Specialist. Prior to this, they worked at Novartis as a Patient Services Liaison, where they assisted patients with biologic injectables and was well-versed in managed care plans and the biologic approval process. Before Novartis, they worked at UBC - An Express Scripts Company as a Sr. Clinical Nurse Educator. Nicole also worked at Ashfield USA as an Avonex Nurse Educator, where they trained patients on self-injection of multiple sclerosis medication and collaborated with various cross-functional partners. Nicole started their career at Columbia St. Mary's as a Nurse Technician/Registered Nurse, where they managed care for medical/surgical patients and eventually took on the role of a charge nurse. Nicole also worked at Kindred Healthcare as a Clinical Liaison, where they assessed complex patients and promoted the benefits of Kindred Hospital to maximize referrals. Nicole has also gained experience in sales as a Senior Sales Representative at Merck, where they managed a territory and increased utilization of asthma and allergy products. Overall, Nicole has demonstrated expertise in patient support, education, collaboration, and sales throughout their career.

Nicole Lewan, RN, MSCN, received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Carroll University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. In June 2014, they obtained their MSCN certification from the IOMSN.
