Changyu Shen

Changyu Shen is an experienced executive in biostatistics and analytics, currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Real World Biostatistics at GSK since May 2025. Prior to this role, Changyu held several positions at Biogen from December 2020 to May 2025, including Senior Director and Head of Analytics, Evidence Generation and Advanced Analytics. Earlier in the career, Changyu was an Associate Professor and Statistical Director at the Smith Center for Outcomes Research in Cardiology at Harvard Medical School from December 2016 to December 2020. Changyu's academic tenure includes roles as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine from 2004 to 2016. Changyu Shen earned a PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Pittsburgh and a BS in Biology from the University of Science and Technology of China.
