Ella Nwaokolo

Ella Nwaokolo currently serves as the Senior Director, Head of Impact Partnerships for Global Health at GSK since October 2025. Prior to this role, Ella held the position of Director for the Positive Action Programme at ViiV Healthcare, where leadership focused on grant-giving initiatives to combat AIDS from January 2023 to October 2025. Ella was the Country Director for Marie Stopes International in Cambodia from January 2017 to January 2023, overseeing a 90-member team dedicated to access to contraception and safe abortion services. Additional roles include interim positions in strategic programmes at Marie Stopes International, programme coordination in humanitarian projects at CARE International UK, and business development at CARE Pakistan. Ella also accumulated significant experience at VSO, leading various health and education programmes across multiple countries from September 2009 to April 2016.
