Erica Conway Mtopra

Erica Conway, PhD MTOPRA, currently serves as Director of Global Regulatory Affairs for Precision Medicine & Digital Health at GSK, starting in November 2024. Prior to this role, Conway was Vice President of IVD Regulatory Affairs for Europe at MCRA, overseeing all regulatory activities for IVD medical devices. Conway's extensive experience includes leadership positions at BSI, where responsibilities ranged from Head of Notified Body for IVD Medical Devices to Global Head of IVD Medical Devices Regulatory Services. Previous roles at Cytox Limited, AXIS-SHIELD DIAGNOSTICS LIMITED, and Quintiles further demonstrate Conway’s expertise in regulatory affairs within the medical device sector. Conway's educational background includes a PhD in Neurophysiology from the University of Bristol and a BSc (Hons) in Physiology from The University of Sheffield.
