John O' Riordan

John O'Riordan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience at GlaxoSmithKline, where John has served since March 1993. Currently holding the position of Vice President of Global Pilot Plants R&D, John is a trained PhD synthetic chemist and a crucial member of the Product Development and Supply team within Research and Development. John oversees the internal small molecule Pilot Plant network, which includes facilities in the US, UK, Ireland, and Singapore. Previously, John held the role of Director of Pilot Plants USA from 2012 to 2013. Educated at University College Cork, John earned both a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry and a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry.
