Kathy de Nys

Kathy De Nys has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical field, currently serving as the Head of Operational Strategy and Head of Business Excellence for Technical R&D Drug Substance at GSK since February 2017. Prior to this role, Kathy held various managerial positions, including Production - QC - Logistics Manager, QC - Logistics Manager, QC Manager, and QC Assistant at BioMaric NV from August 2007 to February 2017. Kathy's career began at Innogenetics, where responsibilities included research in assay development for nucleic acids and sequence analysis for HCV and HBV, as well as the development of immunoassays for HIV and HCV detection from 1998 to 2007. Kathy holds a Licentiate degree in Biotechnology from Ghent University and has a foundational education from Sint Bavo humaniora, completed in 1991.
