Leah O'Brien

Leah O'Brien is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Laboratory Digital & Tech at GSK, where leadership includes oversight of GxP laboratory systems and a product-centric DevOps organization for development LIMS and ELN systems. With a strong background in IT business process management for BioPharm product development, Leah has successfully led data transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and data quality. Previous roles at GSK include Acting VP of Research Solutions and various consulting and strategic analyst positions, contributing to significant IT system improvements and support structure development in R&D environments. Leah also holds a BS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, complemented by software engineering internships at Texas Instruments, CASurgica, Inc., and Lucent Technologies Bell Labs.
