Pierre Pirot

Pierre Pirot is a Clinical Assay Expert Scientist at GSK since September 2024, previously serving as a Senior Scientist at UCB from August 2020 to September 2024, where responsibilities included the development and validation of bioassays and laboratory management. Prior to UCB, Pierre worked at GSK as Manager QC, focusing on analytical method validation and compliance with GMP requirements from December 2017 to August 2020, and as Supervisor in QC Biochemistry from January 2014 to October 2014. Pierre's career also includes a role at AKKA-MATIS Benelux as an Expert in Validation of Analytical Method and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Colorado Denver, researching Type 1 Diabetes. Pierre holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Université libre de Bruxelles and a Complementary Master's in Quality Management from UMONS.
