Renuka Thirumangalathu

Renuka Thirumangalathu, Ph.D., is an accomplished professional in biopharmaceutical drug product development, currently serving as Director at GSK since July 2021. Previously, Renuka held multiple key positions at Johnson & Johnson from April 2016 to May 2021, including Associate Director, Drug Product Development (Cell & Gene Therapy), where responsibilities included leading drug product scientific integration for oncology cell therapy and managing a team focused on biologics development. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Scientist at Teva Pharmaceuticals and Sr Scientist at Amgen, where Renuka directed analytical method development and formulation studies. Renuka's academic background includes a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Toledo, and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
