Simon Peace currently serves as a Scientific Director at GSK, overseeing multiple discovery research projects as a project leader at the Centre of Excellence since June 2023. Previously, Simon held the position of Senior Scientific Director in the Discovery Project Leadership Team and served as Scientific Director in Medicinal Chemistry, demonstrating expertise in project leadership, medicinal chemistry, and problem-solving within multi-disciplinary drug discovery teams. Simon holds a PhD in Asymmetric Organic Synthesis from The University of Sheffield, earned between 1995 and 1998.
