Tim Clay

Vice President, Senior Discovery Project Leader, Therapeutic Vaccines at GSK

Tim Clay is currently the Vice President and Senior Discovery Project Leader for Therapeutic Vaccines at GSK. With a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of the West of England, Tim’s professional experience spans over two decades in the field of cancer research and immunotherapy. Previously, Tim held various leadership roles at GSK, including Senior Director positions in Cancer Immunotherapeutics and Cell and Gene Therapy. Additionally, Tim served as the Director of Clinical Biologics Manufacturing at Duke University Medical Center, where they contributed to the development of cellular therapies for clinical trials. Prior to these roles, Tim was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Cancer Institute and the University of Bristol.
