Vanessa Jully

Vanessa Jully is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in automation and high-throughput technologies within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Associate Director and TRD Automation Lead at GSK since 2015, Vanessa leads the development of long-term project strategies and fosters collaborations with industry experts. Previous roles include R&D Expert Scientist and head of automation programs in Analytical R&D and Drug Product, where innovative approaches resulted in significant increases in efficiency and output, including a 60% reduction in workload for vaccine adjuvant formulation. Academic training includes a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Université catholique de Louvain and a PhD in High-Throughput Formulation, in addition to early research and training roles that contributed to a solid foundation in pharmaceutics.
