Kate Symes

Kate Symes is a Wellbeing and Safety Advisor at Glen Eira City Council since April 2023, previously serving as a People and Culture Support Officer. In November 2023, Kate began a role as a Marriage Celebrant at Symes Ceremonies. Prior experience includes positions such as Industry Placement Coordinator and Leadership Series Coordinator at TAFE Gippsland, Community Information Officer at Baw Baw Shire Council, and a Mortgage Imaging Team Member at ANZ. Earlier career experiences also include a Human Resources Internship at Baw Baw Shire Council and an Internship at Adecco. Educational qualifications consist of a Bachelor of Business in Management/Human Resource Management from Monash University, a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety from TAFE Gippsland, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from TAFE Queensland.
