Lars Petter Maltby is currently the Director of Prosess21 at The Research Council of Norway, focusing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the process industry. Maltby serves as a Committee Member for the Norwegian Ministry of Energy, reviewing potential nuclear power establishment in Norway, and contributes as a Board Member for Glencore Nikkelverk AS, Seram Coatings, and Å Energi. Maltby has held leadership roles such as Chairman of the Board at Returkraft AS and previously served on the Board of Agder Energi AS and the University of Agder. From 2020 to 2022, Maltby was the Founder of Battery Norway, fostering collaboration in the battery manufacturing sector. Educationally, Maltby earned a Dr.Ing in Mechanical/Process Engineering and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
