Ashwin Ravichandran

Ashwin Ravichandran, CFA, currently serves as the Lead US Gas Fundamentals Analyst at Glencore, a position held since December 2023. Prior to this role, Ashwin was a Senior Strategist at RiverCrest Power Advisors from May 2022 to December 2023 and held various positions at Energy Aspects, including Senior Associate and Gas and Power Analyst from October 2019 to May 2022. Ashwin's career began at Wood Mackenzie, progressing from Energy Analyst Intern to Research Analyst, where significant responsibilities included developing quantitative models and performing corridor flow modeling for North American gas markets. Previous experience also includes Analyst roles at Barclays and research positions at the Colorado School of Mines and the University of British Columbia. Ashwin holds a Master of Science in Mineral and Energy Economics from the Colorado School of Mines and dual degrees in Mining and Safety Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
