Dr Sabelo Xaba

Dr. Sabelo Xaba is a highly experienced medical professional serving as a Medical Assessor for the Department of Labour's Compensation Commission since September 2016. In addition to this role, Dr. Xaba has been the Director of Dr S N Xaba Inc since January 2007, focusing on comprehensive primary health care with specialties in HIV care, male circumcisions, and chronic conditions. As a Consulting Medical Practitioner for the Department of Correctional Services and an Occupational Medical Practitioner for Glencore, Dr. Xaba provides medical consultations for detainees and manages occupational health issues. Past advisory roles and research experience include contributions to Advanced Health Day Hospitals and the University of Pretoria Research Unit. Dr. Xaba holds multiple degrees including an MBA from Unisa SBL, a Diploma in Occupational Health from the University of the Free State, a Master’s in Medical Pharmacology from the University of Pretoria, an MBBCH from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Diploma in HIV Management from the College of Medicine of South Africa.
