Elena Anna D'Amato

Elena Anna D'Amato currently serves as a Compliance Officer for Global Metals, Minerals and Coal entities at Glencore, overseeing the Legal and Compliance program across the company's industrial assets worldwide since August 2021. Prior to this role, Elena Anna D'Amato worked at MRI TRADING AG as a Compliance Associate and Junior Compliance Officer, contributing to an ESG-focused LL.M master thesis project centered on human rights and anti-corruption from January to July 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as an Associate at Grand & Nisple Lawyers and Notaries and undertaking a secondment at the Council of the European Bishops Conference, both from 2018 to 2020. Elena Anna D'Amato holds an LL.M in compliance and regulatory affairs from Université de Fribourg, completed in 2022, and possesses both Bachelor and Master's degrees in Law from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, obtained in 2017.
