Miguel Llanos

Miguel Llanos possesses extensive expertise in the energy sector, particularly in LNG trading and origination. Currently serving at Glencore as part of the LNG Trading - Origination team since December 2020, prior experience includes leading LNG origination at Ørsted from May 2017 to December 2020. Miguel’s career at BP spanned over a decade, where roles included commercial manager, head of commercial development/valuations, and senior commercial advisor/negotiator for gas and LNG long-term marketing. Additional positions at Alpiq AG and Lendlease further demonstrate strong capabilities in business development and sales. Educational qualifications comprise degrees in European Management from Universidad Pontificia Comillas and Lancaster University, alongside foundational studies in Physics and Economics at Lomonosov Moscow State University.
