Amanda Pitts

Amanda Pitts is a seasoned public health professional currently serving as the Public Health Program Manager at Glenn County Health & Human Services Agency since September 2021. In this role, Amanda utilizes Snowflake and CalREDIE for data analysis and reporting, strengthens collaborations with epidemiologists, and manages data related to COVID-19 case rates and vaccinations. Previous experience includes serving as the Project Director for the Tobacco Education Program at Colusa County Public Health, where responsibilities encompassed program management, data collection, community outreach, and coalition coordination. Amanda also gained experience through various internships and academic roles in public health, research, and science education, holding a Master of Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis.
