Sarah van Tienen

Sarah van Tienen is an experienced professional with a diverse background in technical and animal management roles. Currently serving as a Technical Officer and various other positions at Glenorchy City Council since July 2012, Sarah has developed expertise in asset management, workplace health and safety, human resources compliance, and learning and development. Prior to this, Sarah worked at Rio Tinto as a Process Operator and held multiple animal management roles across several organizations, including West Tamar Council and RSPCA Tasmania. Sarah's career began in animal care at Grindelwald Kennels & Cattery and Riverside Veterinary Clinic, demonstrating a strong commitment to animal welfare and management.
