Kasra Kasraian

Kasra Kasraian is an accomplished executive in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Chief Technical Officer at PepGen since May 2025. Prior to this role, Kasraian held several senior positions at bluebird bio from July 2019 to June 2025, including Senior Vice President of Technical Development & Operations. Previous experience includes serving as Vice President of Pharmaceutical Development & Manufacturing at Zafgen, Inc. (March 2016 - July 2019) and various leadership roles at Biogen from April 2010 to March 2016. Kasraian began a career at Wyeth Biopharma, holding positions such as Director of Strategic Product Leader. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Pharmaceutics and a BS in Chemical Engineering, both obtained from the University of Kentucky.
