Matt Day is a seasoned music care facilitator at Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation since February 2018, collaborating with the Therapeutic Recreation department to enhance patient rehabilitation through music. With a career spanning over two decades as a musician, musical humorist, speaker, and emcee under MattDay.ca, noteworthy engagements include serving as emcee for the IABC Capital Awards and the City of Edmonton's Canada Day celebrations. Prior roles at Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital involved providing music care and developing an interactive music creation program for patients. Matt holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from Concordia University of Edmonton, a Diploma in Music Performance from MacEwan University, and completed a course in Music Cognition at Berklee College of Music, along with coaching certification from the International Coaching Academy.
