Stevie Towne

Stevie Towne is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in special education across multiple grade levels. Currently serving as a Self Contained Special Education Teacher at Glens Falls City School District since September 2022, Stevie previously held positions at Sanford Street Elementary Teaching and Learning Center, Perry Browne Elementary School, Stamford Central School, and Springbrook NY, Inc., focusing on various subjects including Social Studies and Science, and implementing behavior management strategies. A strong foundation in education was established with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Siena College and a Master of Science in Education from The College of Saint Rose. Stevie's career began with roles in a preschool setting and as a 6th grade teacher, demonstrating versatility and commitment to student development.
