Richard Vandell

Director Of Laboratory Services at Glens Falls Hospital

Richard Vandell has over 30 years of experience in the field of laboratory services. Richard began their career as a Disaster Service Specialist at the American Red Cross before moving on to become a Supervisory Technologist at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Richard then took on various roles at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, including Operations Manager and Program Director. Vandell later served as the Administrative Director of Pathology and Laboratory Services at Cooper University Hospital. Richard continued their career as an Assistant Professor and Director of Medical Laboratory Science Programs at Thomas Jefferson University. Vandell also worked as the Strategic Director of Laboratory Integration at Albany Med Health System. Currently, they are the Director of Laboratory Services at Saratoga Hospital and will soon be transitioning to the same role at Glens Falls Hospital.

Richard Vandell received their Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from the University of Vermont in 1987. Richard then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania from 1992 to 1999.
