Jason Van Hout

Jason Van Hout has extensive work experience in the construction and design industry. Jason is currently the Director of Design & Innovation at Glenveagh Properties plc, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to this, they were the Head of Planning Coordination & Innovation at Glenveagh Properties PLC from May 2021 to August 2022. From July 2018 to May 2021, Jason worked as the Design & Standardisation Coordinator at the same company.

Before joining Glenveagh Properties, Jason worked at Sammon Group as the Architectural & Structural Design Manager from November 2016 to July 2018. Jason also worked at BDP (Building Design Partnership Ltd) as a Senior Architect from June 2016 to November 2016, and as an Architect/Technical Advisor from January 2015 to June 2016.

In addition, Jason has experience in event management as the Events - Formula One Site Manager at Yas Marina Circuit from September 2014 to January 2015. Jason was responsible for overseeing the layout and allocation of spaces within the circuit during Formula One events.

Earlier in their career, Jason held various positions at Oregon ITM Building Supplies Ltd, including Manager of Oregon ITM Frame & Truss Pre-Fabrication and Design Plant from 2013 to 2014, and Senior Architectural Detailer/Draftsman from 2009 to 2013. Jason also worked as a Site Manager/Foreman at Brian Leach Construction from 2004 to 2009, and as a Contract Fencer at Graham Ross Fencing Ltd from 2000 to 2004.

Jason Van Hout obtained a National Diploma in Architectural Technology from Bay of Plenty Polytechnic in the years 2000 to 2003. Following this, from 2009 to 2013, they completed the architectural detailer training program, Mitek C0C - Certificate of Competence, at Mitek NZ Ltd.
