John Connolly has over 35 years of work experience in the construction industry. John started their career as a Carpenter with Connolly Construction in 1985, where they were responsible for various building tasks. In 1987, they worked as a Carpenter Foreman at CHARLES HUNT CONSTRUCTION LTD. From 1991 to 1994, they served as a Senior Projects Manager at Sharkey Bros Ltd, managing project operations and ensuring safety practices. In 1994, they founded ConCall Construction and served as the CEO, successfully growing the company and expanding its divisions. John joined BALLYMORE PROPERTY HOLDINGS in 2014 as a Project Manager, overseeing the Fit Out of luxury apartments and townhouses. In 2017, they joined Marlet Property Group Ltd as a Project Manager, leading dual-site projects involving the development of apartments. Since 2020, they have been working at Glenveagh Properties PLC as a Project Manager.
John Connolly attended Catholic University School in Dublin from 1975 to 1981. In 1981, they attended Crumlin College, where they studied Building Construction Technology. The following year, from 1982 to 1983, they studied Architectural Technology/Technician at Fas. In 1983, they enrolled in Bolton Street, Dublin, where they focused on Carpentry & Joinery until 1985. From 1987 to 1988, they furthered their education at Willesden College of Technology, specializing in Carpentry & Joinery. Additionally, during the same period, they attended Technological University Dublin, focusing on Health & Safety.
