Martin Clancy

Martin Clancy has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles.

Most recently, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Glenveagh Properties PLC starting in September 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Marketing Manager at CarGurus from January 2021 to September 2021.

From 2019 to 2020, they held the position of Senior Marketing Manager at DoneDeal.ie.

Martin also served as the Public Relations and Communications Manager at Daft.ie from December 2014 to April 2019, where they were responsible for driving reach and external communications and managing the creation and delivery of various reports.

Before that, they were the Content Team Lead at Betfair from May 2013 to December 2014, overseeing a team and managing on-site content.

Martin's earlier experience includes roles such as Sports Editor at Beat 102-103, Researcher/Producer at Liverpool Football Club Television, Junior Producer at BBC Radio Cornwall, and Junior Researcher/Producer at TV3.

Martin Clancy began their education journey at the University of Limerick from 2003 to 2007, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in New Media & English. In 2006, they participated in an Erasmus program at the University of Agder (UiA). Martin then furthered their studies by pursuing a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism at Falmouth University from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in War Reporting from the Royal Marines in February 2008.
