Alec Smith is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in stem cell and biomedical sciences, currently serving as a Network Member at GLG since January 2024. As Co-Founder and Scientific Board Member at SoundEats and a Research Assistant Professor and Acting Instructor at the University of Washington, Alec focuses on disease modeling and neuromuscular biology, leading projects in stem cell research and drug screening. Additional experience includes a Senior Fellow role where project management and mentorship in cardiotoxicity screening are emphasized, as well as serving as a Scientific Board Member at Curi Bio.
