Matt Newman, PhD, is a seasoned researcher with over 20 years of experience in both industry and academia. As the Founder and Principal Researcher at Serenity Research & Consulting since August 2015, Matt specializes in survey research and UX methodologies to aid clients in understanding customer perspectives. Matt has also held positions as Research Project Lead at GLG, Research Lead at Sylver Consulting, and UX Researcher at Blink, among other roles. Previous experiences include senior positions in UX/CX research and statistics, as well as academic roles at Arizona State University, where responsibilities included program management and research supervision. Matt earned a PhD in Social Psychology and Statistics from The University of Texas at Austin and holds additional degrees in Psychology from the same institution and Trinity University.
