Michiel de Jongh

Michiel de Jongh is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Valorem Management since March 2020, specializing in strategy advisory roles within the agriculture sector, including ag-tech, trading, and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Michiel serves as Chief Growth Officer and Board Member at Agro.Club, overseeing the establishment of a tech-enabled grain trading business in Brazil and the US. Current engagements include advisory roles at Phytoform and crop.zone hybrid herbicide, and a Board Directorship at Lucent BioSciences Inc., contributing to the advancement of sustainable agriculture. Previous leadership positions include Global Head of Seedcare at Syngenta, Executive Vice President at Agrinos, and an Executive Board Member of CropLife Canada. Michiel holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering & Management Science from Eindhoven University of Technology and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School in 2010 and 2017.
