Elidie Beard, PhD

Elidie Beard, PhD has been working in the field of neuroscience since 2005. Elidie began with a student internship at bioMerieux, followed by an internship in Neurosciences at the Laboratory of Neurosciences EA 481. In 2007, they completed their PhD in Neurosciences at CHUV | Lausanne university hospital. From 2015-2019, they worked as a Neuroscientist at UNIL - Universit\u00e9 de Lausanne, and then as a Senior Research Scientist at CHUV /\u00a0Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Scientist at GliaPharm SA.

Elidie Beard, PhD, obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience from the Faculty of Biology and Medicine at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland in 2012. Prior to that, they received their Master 2 in Neurosciences and Behaviors from the Faculty of Science at the University of Besançon, France in 2007. Before that, they obtained their Master 1 in Physiology and Neurosciences from the Faculty of Biology Claude Bernard at the University of Lyon, France in 2006. Elidie also earned their Licence of Cell Biology and Physiology from the same faculty in 2005.
