Eleana Binder

Eleana Binder is a dedicated policy advocate with extensive experience in housing, homelessness, and social services. As a Policy Associate at GLIDEsf since September 2021, Eleana continues to influence policy directions. Previous experience includes serving as a Tenant & Social Services Advocate at The Bar Association of San Francisco's Homeless Advocacy Project, where advocacy for eviction prevention was a primary focus. Additional roles at organizations such as the Shriver Center on Poverty Law and Public Advocates involved research and legislative work aimed at enhancing housing affordability and justice. Internships with local government offices highlighted Eleana's commitment to community engagement and policy formation. Eleana Binder holds a degree from Reed College, complementing a strong foundation in public policy and social justice initiatives.
