Shay Frendt

Shay Frendt has over 12 years of work experience in a variety of roles. In 2008, Frendt worked as a Consultant for CGI, where they were a business analyst on the North Carolina Department of Revenue's Tax Information Management System implementation. In 2009, Frendt worked as a Developer for Relevance, and in 2010, Frendt founded Ranger, a "one-click" uptime monitoring application. In 2011, Frendt worked as a Developer for Chargify.com. In 2012, Frendt joined GitHub as a Senior Engineer, and held various roles, including Senior Engineering Manager, Director of Engineering, and Senior Director of Engineering, until 2019. In 2019, Frendt joined White Cloud Ventures as the Managing Partner. In 2022, Frendt joined Glide as the VP of Engineering.

Shay Frendt attended the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a degree in International Business with a Spanish Minor.
