Adam Tom

Adam Tom has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Adam began their career in 1994 as Vice President of Sales and Product and Co-Founder of Imedia, where they helped pioneer a revolutionary new product category for managing the distribution of digital video. In 2001, Adam co-founded RGB Networks, where they led the company from inception through their successful first product release and sales. Adam was responsible for product, engineering, sales, customer support, operations, and positioning the company for accelerated growth, as well as raising financing from top VCs. In 2013, Adam became Advisor to the Board of Directors of Incoming Media, where they advised the board on corporate and business matters, and also served as CEO, leading the company vision and product strategy. In 2015, they took on the role of Chief Product Officer at UV Networks. From 2016 to 2019, Adam served as Senior Vice President - Product and Engineering Samsung Ads and Smart TV Services at Samsung Electronics. In 2019, they became Member Board of Directors and Co-Founder at Voklize, where they helped set business strategy. Adam currently serves as CEO of Glidr Inc., where they help consumers take control of streaming video by helping them easily discover and manage streaming video content and services with the help of their friends.

Adam Tom holds a PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, an MS from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and a BS from University of California, Berkeley in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
