Paula Lucas is an experienced art professional currently serving as Art Lead at GLITCHERS since April 2024, with a background as a Freelance Artist since April 2019. Prior to this, Paula held the position of Art Lead at Ant Workshop Ltd from April 2020 to March 2024 and worked as a Games Artist at Ninja Kiwi from July 2013 to April 2019. In addition to these roles, Paula contributed as an Artist for a Stall Booth at Faber-Castell during a special event at the Armageddon Expo in Auckland from October 2013 to October 2014, where responsibilities included drawing portraits for patrons. Paula's educational background includes a Diploma in Character Animation obtained from Animation College NZ between 2011 and 2013.

With laser focus, GLITCHERS collaborates on projects that have the potential for gigantic leaps and connect players to some of the world's most pressing issues in mental health and the environment. Games are often solving the problem of entertainment and entertainment alone. We challenge the relationship with the game design process by balancing entertainment with an unconventional problem like dementia research, behavioural change or biodiversity using games.
