Ibtisam Abbas

Ibtisam Abbas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in human resources and total rewards management. Currently serving as SVP at GAL since July 2023, Ibtisam is also the Founder and Managing Director of Grid HR Consulting, a position held since September 2020. Previous roles include Director of Total Rewards at a confidential company and Director, Human Capital Business Partner at EDGE MW Cluster. Other notable positions include Director of Human Resources at EDIC, Department Head of Total Rewards and OD at Abu Dhabi Airports, and Manager of Compensation & Benefits at both Emirates Aluminium and Etisalat. Ibtisam holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ajman University, completed between 2001 and 2003.
