Andree Menard

Manager, Accommodations G7 Summit at Global Affairs Canada

Andree Menard has extensive experience in event planning and accommodations management, particularly within government contexts. Currently serving as Manager of Accommodations for the G7 Summit at Global Affairs Canada since March 2011, Andree has previously held roles as Senior Coordinator for the Outreach Program Team and Advisor in the Summits Management Office, focusing on the organization of major international events in Canada. Prior experience includes the position of Deputy Director in the Accommodation segment of the Summits Management Office at DFAIT, where responsibilities encompassed hotel accommodations for the G-8 Summit in June 2010. Andree also has a significant background in catering and conference services, having worked as Director of Catering & Conference Services at Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello from 1994 to 2009 and as Catering & Conference Services Coordinator at Fairmont Hotels and Resorts from 1989 to 1994. Academic credentials include a degree from Université de Moncton and a Grade 12 diploma from Ecole Polyvalente Mathieu-Martin.
