Huzaif Qaisar

Huzaif Qaisar currently serves as Press Secretary and Communications Advisor at Global Affairs Canada since March 2023. Previously, Huzaif held the position of President for the Ontario Young Liberals from October 2021 to September 2024. Between November 2020 and March 2023, Huzaif worked as a Legislative & Communications Advisor in the House of Commons of Canada. Additional experience includes roles such as Campaign Manager for the Ontario Liberal Party in Brampton-Centre, Research & Communications Assistant for the Canadian Defence and Security Network, and Research Assistant at the Canadian Global Affairs Institute. Huzaif also contributed as a Communication Consultant for the Social Planning Council of Ottawa and served in an internship as a Parliamentary/Communications Assistant in the House of Commons. Educationally, Huzaif completed a degree in Law and Political Science (Honours), with a focus on International Relations and Affairs at Carleton University from 2018 to 2022.
