Katherine Brown

Katherine Brown is an experienced professional currently serving as a Stream Advisor at Global Affairs Canada within the Assignments and Pool Management Division since January 2017. Katherine has held various roles at Global Affairs Canada, including Program Officer positions in Human Rights & Inclusion and the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives, as well as serving as a Junior Analyst. Prior to this, Katherine gained valuable experience as a Partnerships & Community Engagement Intern at SOS Children's Villages Canada and as a Program Intern at Save the Mothers, where responsibilities included administrative support and organizing community sensitization trips for students. Katherine holds a Master's degree in International/Global Studies from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor's degree in History and Social Justice & Peace Studies from King's University College.
