Kathy Alice Awad

Kathy Alice Awad, PMP, is an experienced IT project management professional with a focus on advisory services and project management in the public sector. Currently serving as IT Team Lead for Project Management & Advisory Services at Global Affairs Canada since September 2020, Kathy oversees the Project Management Office and Center of Excellence. Previous roles at Global Affairs Canada included leading IT Project Services for Grants & Contributions and managing IM Software Solutions and Development, as well as supporting various IM/IT projects. Prior to this, Kathy held multiple positions at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission from June 2014 to September 2020, including IT Project Management Officer and IT Project Coordinator. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences with a Minor in Public Administration from the University of Ottawa, an Associate Certificate in IT Project Management from McMaster University, and a diploma in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from Collège La Cité.
