Marie-Michelle Poulin

Executive Director, Regional Network & Intergovernmental Relations at Global Affairs Canada

Marie-Michelle Poulin has extensive experience in international trade and intergovernmental relations, currently serving as the Director General of the Regional Network, Intergovernmental Relations and Trade Missions at Global Affairs Canada since January 2010. Throughout their career at Global Affairs Canada, roles have included Executive Director and various directorships focused on trade with Brazil, the Southern Cone, and Asia, as well as positions involving trade policy, negotiations, and agriculture. Prior experience includes analytical and HR roles at the Department of National Defence. Marie-Michelle Poulin holds a Master of Public Administration from the Royal Military College of Canada and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Ottawa. Currently, training is underway in full-time Spanish language studies in preparation for a forthcoming assignment.
