Maryam Mashaie

Maryam Mashaie currently serves as the Director of Data Science and Information Solutions at Global Affairs Canada since October 2023, following a role as Deputy Director of Data Science from September 2021 to December 2023. Prior to this, Mashaie held the position of Manager of Cyber and IT Security Projects at Shared Services Canada from August 2020 to September 2021. Mashaie's earlier career includes managerial roles at the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority, where leadership spanned business services management and analytics. Mashaie's professional journey began as a research assistant at Canada Mortgage Housing Corporation, and includes a summer internship at the United Nations. Academically, Mashaie holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Arts in Economics, both from the University of Ottawa.
