Mridvika Sahajpal

Mridvika Sahajpal is a Research and Policy Analyst currently employed at Global Affairs Canada in the Democracy Division, where responsibilities include developing tools to enhance democratic resilience against threats such as foreign interference and misinformation. Prior to this role, Mridvika contributed to the establishment of a Canadian Centre for Democracy, conducting research and stakeholder consultations. Previous experiences include serving as a Research Fellow at the University of Toronto, focusing on Eurasian governance and minority integration, and positions at Human Rights Watch and the Organization for World Peace, where advocacy and research on human rights issues were key duties. Mridvika holds multiple degrees, including an MA in European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies from the University of Toronto's Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, and has participated in several international exchange programs.
