Dave Wilken

Dave Wilken is the current President of Life at Global Atlantic Financial Group. Prior to this, they served as President of Voya Individual Life Insurance and CEO of Voya America Equities from January 2013 to December 2016. Dave was retained and promoted after the separation of ING in 2013. Dave has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. Dave began their career at ING in 1986 and held various positions including SVP of Independent Life Sales, SVP Marketing and Strategic Business Development, and SVP Controller. In these roles, they established a distribution strategy and related organization to align with Voya Financial's vision as America's Retirement Company. Dave is a member of the Voya Financial Operating Committee led by Rod Martin (CEO). Dave has the unique opportunity to lead the Individual Life business and directly manage the Distribution, Product, and Underwriting functions, while leading the entire Individual Life matrix organization of 400+ employees.

Dave Wilken has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting from the University of Minnesota.
