Andres Batista Jara

Andres Batista Jara is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Investment Funds at Global Bank since July 2021, where responsibilities include managing the Fondo Global de Inversiones (FGLOBAL:PP) and overseeing five REITs. Previously, at Banesco Panamá, from June 2019 to June 2021, Andres managed a proprietary Fixed Income Portfolio exceeding US$580 million and established a UST trading desk with significant trading volumes. Earlier experience includes a role as a Sales Trader and Investment Analyst at Multibank Panama from June 2016 to May 2019, where trading for various high-net-worth and institutional accounts took place, alongside portfolio analysis for significant assets under management. Andres holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Business Administration and Management from Florida State University, obtained in 2016.
