Ron Nechemia

Ron Nechemia is an accomplished International Political Economist and philanthropist currently serving as the Chairman of the Board of Governors and President of Global Bank Group since June 2016. In addition to leading Global Bank Group, which comprises six interrelated organizations, Ron Nechemia is actively involved with various United Nations bodies, including the UNECE Peer Review Team and the UNECE PPP Business Advisory Board. With a role on the United Nations Investment Advisory Council to the G77+1, Ron Nechemia contributes to the collective economic interests of developing states. Furthermore, as the Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ron Nechemia facilitates discussions on global development financing. Previous positions include leadership at EurOrient Financial Group and involvement with international trade and economic organizations. Education includes attendance at UCLA and Thunderbird School of Global Management.
