Catrina Wang

Catrina Wang serves as a General Partner at Portal Ventures, a crypto investment firm, since May 2023, focusing on pre-seed stage protocol investments by merging business model analysis with sector research. Additionally, Catrina is the Head of the Alumni Network and Conference at Penn Blockchain, overseeing the organization of the UPenn Blockchain Conference and Hackathon. Prior experience includes roles as a Researcher & Operator at Protocol Labs, Investment Principal at Hivemind, and various venture and research fellowships. Catrina has a background in data science from Apple and strategy consulting at Deloitte, where leadership in blockchain initiatives was demonstrated. Education includes an MBA from The Wharton School and a BS from the University of Southern California.
