Fadhila Al Dhahouri

Fadhila Al Dhahouri is the co-founder and CEO of the Global Centre of Islamic Art since April 2022, where responsibilities include providing strategic leadership and overseeing operations to transform the global perception of Islamic art. Prior to this, Fadhila served as an Academic Advisor at the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the Cultural Division from July 2019 to October 2023. Earlier roles include serving as President of the Cardiff University Students' Union, where political leadership and stakeholder engagement were key responsibilities, and as Vice President for Education, advocating for the academic interests of 30,000 students. Fadhila's educational background includes a Bachelor's Honours degree in Genetics from Cardiff University and various programs in English language and foundation studies.
