Doug Bruhnke has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. In 1998, they started their career at Accenture as an International Program Manager, leading new product development projects. Doug also worked at General Motors, where they served as an International Program Manager, implementing project management strategies to accelerate new vehicle development. Furthermore, Bruhnke worked at ProModel Corporation as a Managing Director, overseeing a turnaround for the software and consulting services firm. Doug later joined Microsoft as an International Marketing professional. At Johnson & Johnson, they served as an International Program Manager, leading a successful drug development project. Bruhnke also held a leadership position at Freeport-McMoRan, where they led a global marketing and sales turnaround. In 2007, they founded Growth Nation, where they developed the business model for Global Chamber®. In 2014, they founded and became the CEO of The Global Chamber, which is the only chamber of commerce located in every country. Finally, in 2022, they joined Global Class as the City Lead for San Francisco, supporting the spread of the company's message through local programs and events.
Doug Bruhnke obtained their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah from 1976 to 1980. Doug later pursued further education and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Michigan State University between 1994 and 1996, specializing in Business.
